I had an Abdominoplasty on 20th June which did not go very well. My belly button and the wound above my pubic area became very infected and I am now left with an open sore along my pubic area up to my belly button which requires hydrogel filling and dressing each day. I am on antibiotics for E Coli infection and extremely swollen and lumpy all over my tummy. What is the outcome to this, will I require further surgery? How long must I be like this to get any further advanced? If someone could please give me a little guidance, I would be grateful as I am being offered hardly any support here.
