I started taking oral arnica I think it was 1 week before my lipo surgery, instructions on the bottle, something like 7-10 drops in a glass of water ( I didn't get the pills) anyway I didn't get any bruising after it, and while I don't know what the effects would be without it, all I had was some stitches with a band aid over them to deal with… and the pain! PS You are to take the arnica for 1-2 weeks after if I remember correctly.
