Weight loss will vary with any person and diet. I am a little skeptical of 12-day diet plans. As with any diet, you want to make sure you are getting the right balance of foods and nutrition. If weight has been a struggle for a period of time, I would consult a physician before going on any regimented plan. He / She may be able to recommend a diet that would produce lasting and healthy results.
