First of all, you do not want to apply anything to those areas unless the stitches have been removed, and the skin has healed. Once this has happened, you may want to try something like scarfade gel. It is a silicone product to help the appearance of scars fade and disappear. You can treat scars for up to one year, so you still have time to dimenish the appearance of these scars. As with anything, please consult your surgeon / physician before using this product.
