Post liposuction swelling is common however the amount of swelling will vary based on genetics, prior surgeries in the same area (causes increased swelling) and the location of the liposuction. The lower on the body that the liposuction is performed, the greater the chances for increased swelling. Too much or too little compression will both have adverse affects on the swelling. Our garments are designed to deliver the proper amount of compression for 1st stage and 2nd stage compression wear. You should consult with your surgeon however, regarding your situation and expectations.
