Q: How do I purchase from your website?
A: Purchasing from our site is easy, fast, and secure. When viewing a product, simply click the "Add To Cart" button near the bottom of that page. Doing this will take you to your Shopping Cart. At which you would click the "Checkout" button. You will be asked to either login or create an account in oder to checkout. After this you will follow the instructions and proceed through your secure checkout. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.

Q: I forgot my account login and/or password
A: No problem. Simply reset your password here. When there, enter the email address you used when you created your account with us. You will be emailed a new password. Once you are logged into your account using the NEW password, you can change the password if you like.

Compression Garments

Q: What is a Compression Garment?
A: A post operative compression garment is a type of clothing that promotes faster wound healing and decreased risk of complications. Pushing down on the skin, the surgical compression garment squeezes body fluids back toward deeper tissues, reducing edema (swelling) in the affected areas, and speeding delivery of oxygen to the cells. In addition, loose skin, held firmly against the body, is far more likely to heal without sagging. (Source: Coressence Laser & Skin Center. Q: What is a Stage One Compression Garment?
A: A stage one (1) compression garment is a medical garment that provides moderate compression immediately after surgery and may be worn for up to 2 weeks. This zippered garment with reinforced seams allows for easy application and durability during the critical immediate postoperative period. (Source: Rainey Compression Essentials. Q: What is a Stage Two Compression Garment?
A: Stage Two garments provide continued healing compression and support during the second stage of recovery (typically 2-8 weeks post-op). This non-zippered, pull-on garment is sized smaller for additional support to the newly contoured body. Second stage garments also fit smoothly under clothing as patients become more active. Q: How should I clean my Compression Garment?
A: Most of our Garments are machine washable and dryer safe. However, some of our Garments are not. We ask that you Contact Us Online with the specific type of Garment for care instructions. Also, some Garments may include cleaning instructions. To help ensure the quality of your Garment, we suggest using LovLast Garment Cleaner.

Q: Do your Garments shink after washing?

Q: What is the fabric content of your compression garments?
A: Most of our Garments are 77% Nylon and 23% DuPont® Power Lycra. This combination of soft strong compression make our Garments #1 from both patients and Doctors. Most of our Garments are latex-free. Please Contact Us Online or call 662-842-0179 for specific Latex questions.

Sizing, Fit, Drain Sites

Q: Do you have a sizing chart?
A: Yes. Please see our Compression Garment Sizing Chart.

Q: Is there a particular sizing method?
A: Yes. Size chart is based on Pre-Op measurements. For accurate measurements, pull measuring tape medium-snug next to skin without clothing. Exception: Patient should wear bra for bust measurements. Home Recovery recommends that customers purchase the Stage One Garment in Pre-Surgery Size. For example, if customer is a size 10 before surgery then a size 10 “Stage One” Compression Garment should be purchased. After surgery the patient will be swollen and approximately the same size as before the surgery. The “Stage Two” Garment will be the same size. Home Recovery designs the “Stage Two” garments to be more snug than “Stage One” garments.

Q: What is a Drain Site?
A: Certain surgical procedures may require tube insertions at the incision to drain excess fluids from the body. Doctors may prescribe sites along first stage garments to accommodate this process. Our Garment Drain Sites are tailored with hook and eye closures for continued use of the garment once the tubes are removed.

Q: Do I need a Drain Site?
A: This depends on what your Doctor has suggested to you. Please consult with your Doctor before purchasing.

A: Because we offer various types of shipping carriers, we ask that you provide us with a residential or commercial address only for delivery. Providing only a P.O. box may delay shipment.
